When old acquaintances, good byes are sent,
we may run into each other somewheres,
in a restaurant in a store or where
what was lost remains while we're beginning
Weather is no metaphor more able
than a poem to disclose itself
the buttocks are larger than a smile
and naked as on that first day alive
no longer prescient but fully awakened
ready to express something important
the pregnant pauses let mercy resume
as a baby is as benevolent
made up of a core and a radiant,
filaments when glowing the ripening.
